The global financial crisis messed up everything. Some of my partners were acquired by other companies, many of them have forced me to sign new agreements. The main games provider disabled discounts. And I finally stick with the huge amount of overpriced games for ($19.95 – $19.99) and no zero advantages over other game portals.

Therefore I decided to update the website, as soon as possible.

The new website will have some great features, which allows you to use discounts and subscriptions from other publishers to buy games. Also, I’ll back to the game giveaway tactics that I used some years ago. And “stars” will finally become useful.

However, the website like EmotionRays.com is a big project. And I need to update it until November, 15th. Or I have to remove a huge amount of games (thanks, my favourite partner!) So the update will be completed in several steps.

Step 1. Game catalog and game downloads will be implemented. User registration and user accounts will be disabled.

Step 2. Basic user accounts and registration.

Step 3. Unique and useful features for user accounts.

I can’t share all details right now, because my competitors may implement them on their websites before I’ll update the EmotionRays.com. But I’d like to ask you to be patient when the user accounts will be disabled for a while, your current data and “stars” will be safe.

We at Emotion Rays believe, that games are overpriced. Especially now, when the whole world faced the financial crysis.

That is why we decided to lower the prices on our games (Caribbean Treasures and Golden Ankh) to the most reasonable amount of $6.95.

Both these games were developed in 2003-2004. They have outdated graphics and music. But they still fun to play. Besides, Golden Ankh is available for free to all registered members of EmotionRays.com.

Well, I just download the Golden Ankh. It’s a terrible game! Although the original idea is great, there is no tips or tutorials, and stupid sounds and music. I couldn’t play it even for 5 minutes.

I am thinking about development of Golden Ankh 2 someday. Based on the same idea, but much much better. And I am also thinking about the Caribbean Treasures as the free game for registered members. Its not very beautiful, but at list playable and fun.
