Jane’s Hotel: Family Hero

If you like time management games, you should already know Jane’s Hotel - one the most successful games since Diner Dash. In this game you play Jane, a hotel manager. She borrowed money from the bank (again?) to open four hotels in different countries. And now she have to make enough profit to pay off a debt.

So, your primary task is to pay attend to guest requests. Everything they want should be done fast, or they’ll get angry and you will lose a profit. Most of their requests - like drinks, newspapers, phonecalls and so on - you will need to do by yourself. And for some of them you have a chambermaid and a porter.

A chambermaid and a porter can do up to four tasks. However, I didn’t played that far to see all of them. I only know that the maid can be used to vacuum the rooms and watering plants. And porter is good for fixing the broken-down machines, like phone or espresso machine. And according to in-game tips, a porter should also be used to bring guest’s suitcases into their room.

In Jane’s Hotel: Family Hero, there are two kinds of upgrades. You can buy new machines, furniture or decoration into your hotel, or you can train your staff a new skills. New machines and furniture makes additional profit, while decorations attract more customers. There is a description for each upgrade that describes how it works. Most staff upgrades makes your employees working faster. And few of them add new skills.

The game has a good graphics. Not the best, but good enough. And what I like the most is the music. And Jane’s Hotel: Family Hero is probably the first time management game with the in-game tips that are displayed while level is loading.

I think that this sequel is much better than the original game. Especially because of advanced upgrades and a big variety of guests. They are fun and well-animated. So if you like time management games - today is your day ;)
