Looking for a quality and simple match-3 game? If so, then the Rainforest Adventure is right for you. It don’t have any story (just a map to show your progress). There are no gameplay “improvements” (like clicking on matching items instead of combining them). Its a pure, classic match-3 game.

This game is very beautiful. Almost every picture worth to be framed and placed on the wall. I think, they were painted by a professional artist. Perhaps, a very expensive one, becasue there are not too much pictures in the game.

The gameplay in Rainforest Adventure is similar to Jewel Quest. You need to swap items to make groups of 3 and more of similar ones. These groups can be aligned vertically or horizontally. Once you make a group, it disappear from the board and “mark” the squares that contained it. To complete a level, you need to “mark” all the squares.

Some items can hold the “bonus power”. The bonuses are really useful. They help you to complete the level faster by marking more squares.

There are also a bonus level, that is more like a lottery. You have to click on the cells to find out a hidden bonuses. And you have a limited amount of clicks to be done, so it depends from your luck - how good bonuses you will be able to find.

Well, Rainforest Adventure is just an ordinary match-3 game with a beautiful graphics. There is no adventure, just a stunning action. If you don’t like to immerse in the games and to spend hours on them, this game is definitely for you. You can leave it anytime and back to it when you want to have some rest.

By the way, I used iMovie ‘08 to make a video from this game. And it was really fast. Although many people have complained about the new iMovie that it is not as powerful as the previous verison, it is very useful to create small movies for websites in a short period of time. It takes less than 5 minutes for me to combine a clip from the videos that I recorded from the game. Well, I know that it has nothing with the game review, but I just wanted to put my 5 cents into the discussions about the new iMovie ‘08 from Apple.
