Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst - How To Open Doors (Part I)

In this post I am going to tell you how to solve the door puzzles in this fabulous game. Actually, I am not a good teller when it comes to name the numerous actions, so I just share some tips and complete video solutions for each door puzzle.

1. How to open the door to the Parlor - 1st Door Puzzle:

This is probably the easiest door puzzle. Place the daytime objects to the left and the nighttime objects to the right.

2. How to open the door to the Servant’s Quarters - 2st Door Puzzle:

You need to set up a certain time on the clock. Its 9:30, and this time can be found behind the form which is sticked to the wall near the talking head. Also, play with different objects to see what they do.

3. How to open the door to the Guest Bath - 3rd Door Puzzle:

The hardest thing in this door puzzle is to catch the fish. I have made numerous attempts to catch fish when it slowly goes back from the right position to the left. It was my mistake, because you need to press the green button when the hook is almost down to jump the fish on it (i.e. you can catch fish when it go forward, not back).

4. How to open the door to the Music Room - 4th Door Puzzle:

You need to play notes several times, and you also need to know notes to play them in this puzzle. Check video to see which notes I press on the keyboard and remember their position. I have played them several times to unlock the door, but some people says that you can play them once but in backward order. I didn’t tried that, so its up to you to try.

5. How to open the door to the Surveillance Room - 5th Door Puzzle

Well, it takes some time for me to guess that you need to click on the broken wires to connect them :) This puzzle is actually very simple.

6. How to open the door to the Library - 6th Door Puzzle

Get the Flash Player to see the wordTube Media Player.

There are one clock where you can roll the arrows, and other clocks which are not working. Set a time from each clock on the big clock and press the red button to start them. To find out the correct sequence for the keypad, count everything you can in the screens at the bottom (a hand with 5 fingers means 5, two cards means 2, a star with 6 rays means 6, a triangle means 3 and so on).

7. How to open the door to the Attic - 7th Door Puzzle

Get the Flash Player to see the wordTube Media Player.

At first, you need to rotate the bricks with letters to match the same direction as on the letters in the window. Then you need to flush the toilet several times to complete this puzzle.

8. How to open the door to the Storage Room - 8th Door Puzzle

Click on papers with clues to find the correct symbols. When you release the mouse, don’ t forget to click on the “Feed me” sign to open the hole behind it. When the mouse is running in the wheel, click on the cat to complete this puzzle.
