Well, for a long time I thought about this article. But now I feel that I have to write it. And I have to confess that I’ve become a WoW addicted.

This simple game demands much of your time to stay current. To be welcomed by the community. And to be accepted by other players that play with you in the same “guild”. This game demands much of your time to earn in-game money, to get better armor and you (not just your character, but you personally) is judged by this. And if you put all in this game, as a reward you’ll get friends, random people to spend a nice time and to have a nice chat, maybe some respect from other players.

Because of the new partnership between Big Fish Games and PlayFirst, we have to remove all PlayFirst games from our catalog because they have temporary canceled affiliate relationship with everyone. Unfortunately, there are no any temrs on where they plan to start to offer their games to affiliates again. We are looking forward to renew our relations with PlayFirst as soon as possible.

I have finally talked out the game idea with Big Fish Games representatives. The original idea was very "global", and it was about a cartoon adventure with match3 minigames. Well, many details were cut off, including the online competitions and so on. And now its a match3 game with some adventure parts.

Well, I guess there’s no matter how you will "wrap" match3 gameplay, it will still be match3. And they are not so popular as hidden objects, adventures or time management games. But they are much cheaper to develop.

Its very sad to cut off the online features, and maybe there’ll be a separate version for Emotion Rays website that will include them. But anyway, Caribbean Treasures 2 will be extremely fun with many new features and addictive match3 levels.

I plan to start the development as soon as the new website will be published.

I was pleased to see so many kind reviews of this game at Reflexive.com. Though almost everyone don’t like the music, most reviewers have noticed that this game has a very addictive gameplay. And I am very happy to see that because this game is all about the gameplay. It doesn’t have neither great graphics, nor intriguing plot. Put I’ve put plenty of time to make gameplay as smooth and dynamic as possible. And actually it took 3 months to debug it and keep all the features that I wanted.

Well, nothing could be better for a game developer than a fact that people like to play their games.

And by the way, when the new website will be finished, all registered member will get the Caribbean Treasures for free.
